What's "Self Myofascial Release?"
Simply put... foam rolling and other self-massage techniques. All of your muscles have a tough connective tissue layer weaved throughout. Sometimes that connective tissue gets tight and no amount of stretching on its own will seem to relieve it. That's where foam rolling and other similar techniques come into play... they help loosen up that connective tissue and allow your to reduce the tension in the muscle.
We'll take an hour or so and review some key areas to target for common tight and painful spots. ;)
